{"id":32657,"date":"2021-12-01T10:09:33","date_gmt":"2021-12-01T13:09:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/domainebousquet.com\/?p=32657"},"modified":"2021-12-01T10:09:33","modified_gmt":"2021-12-01T13:09:33","slug":"the-drinks-business-green-awards-2021-the-winners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/domainebousquet.com\/en\/the-drinks-business-green-awards-2021-the-winners\/","title":{"rendered":"The Drinks Business Green Awards 2021: the winners"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"standfirst\">Following a ceremony yesterday afternoon in London, we are delighted to reveal the winners from The Drinks Business Green Awards 2021.<\/h2>\n<p>Now in its 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0year, the Green Awards is the only initiative to reward those operators in the drinks sector taking a eco-minded and sustainable approach to their business.<\/p>\n<p>Below you\u2019ll find the companies that were shortlisted for this year\u2019s awards, as well as the recipients of commendations and the winners in each category.<\/p>\n<p>The results were revealed at a live London-based ceremony at 3-5pm at The Club at The Ivy yesterday, Monday 29 November, where\u00a0<em>the drinks business<\/em>\u00a0team, the judges, and all shortlisted candidates enjoyed a range of sustainably-produced drinks from organic English sparkling to organic Malbec and Welsh mineral water (see list of our Green Awards supporters below).<\/p>\n<p>Introducing the awards, I stressed the need for green-minded companies to consider all areas of their business when pursuing a sustainability agenda. Indeed, the producers who won big this year tended to be those who had looked at greening their energy use and generation, waste treatment, and transport type, while also considering recycling rates, packaging weight and, importantly, how they can benefit their surroundings, socially and environmentally.<\/p>\n<p>As previously noted by\u00a0<em>db<\/em>, the judges were particularly impressed at the quality of the entries this year, with one judge declaring this to be the best ever set of entries he had seen in this long-running awards programme.<\/p>\n<p>A full report on all the recipients in this year\u2019s Green Awards will appear in the January issue of\u00a0<em>the drinks business<\/em>\u00a0as well as online next month, featuring profiles of all the winning entries.<\/p>\n<p><em>db<\/em>\u00a0is indebted to its drinks supporters who provided refreshments for this year\u2019s ceremony, who are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ty Nant for the Welsh water<\/li>\n<li>Emiliana Organic for the Chilean fizz<\/li>\n<li>Oxney for the organic English sparkling<\/li>\n<li>Domaine Bousquet for the organic ros\u00e9 and Chardonnay from Argentina<\/li>\n<li>Marqu\u00e9s de C\u00e1ceres for the Rioja Reserva<\/li>\n<li>Pol Roger Portfolio for the Pol Roger Brut R\u00e9serve Champagne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are also extremely grateful to our sponsors Amorim and Pol Roger Portfolio for their continued support of The Green Awards, as well as to our learned judges for their time and thoughtful decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>Please read on to see the recipients of this year\u2019s Green Awards.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following a ceremony yesterday afternoon in London, we are delighted to reveal the winners from The Drinks Business Green Awards 2021.
