Domaine Bousquet, Natural Origins Malbec (3L), Tupungato, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tasting Note:<\/strong>\u00a0An organic, boxed malbec that drinks like malbec from a bottle which is welcome news for those of you like me who tend to be skeptical of boxed wines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blackberry, red currant, black plum and kirsch with hints of sage brush and violet blossom.<\/p>\n

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied malbec has medium-intensity, red-and-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin.<\/p>\n

The wine is mostly straightforward with ripe fruit and a solid depth of flavor.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had more expensive bottled wines and wines that didn\u2019t taste half as good as this.<\/p>\n

Definitely worth trying and pairing with grilled meats.<\/p>\n

Great value for the quality.<\/p>\n

Box Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Domaine Bouquet combines the know-how of French winemaking with the exceptional climate and terroir of Argentina. The vineyard is located in the Andean foothills at 1,200 meters above sea level. The temperature amplitude helps to obtain ripened grapes with excellent acidity. The grapes are handpicked and the vineyard is certified organic. Medium body with ripe fruit and a pleasant finish. 3L Box = 4 Bottles.<\/p>\n
