History

From Carcassonne to the Andes.
Four generations. One shared purpose: to create great wines.

The Bousquet family left the south of France in search of a unique place. They found it in Mendoza. Pure soils. Extreme altitude. A terroir that changes everything.

In 1997, they purchased virgin land in Gualtallary and started from scratch. Vineyards at 1,200 meters above sea level. Cold air. Intense sunlight. Perfect conditions for exceptional wine.

Since then, we have worked with one simple idea: to unite European tradition with the power of the Andes.

Today, Domaine Bousquet is a benchmark in premium organic wines, present in more than 50 countries. A project that has grown true to its origins: respect for the land, passion for wine, and a different way of doing things.

Our story continues. And it’s only just beginning.

Philosophy & Values

We believe in a simple idea: the best wine is born in the land. That is why we work organically, caring for each vineyard at the foot of the Andes, where altitude, cold climate, and pure mountain water create a truly unique environment. Our role is to accompany this origin, not to interfere with it.

We harvest by hand, select every grape, and craft our wines with precision. Fewer processes, more essence. We seek for each wine to express its place, its energy, and the story it carries within.

Respect, quality, and simplicity. These are the principles that guide every decision. We innovate without losing tradition, combining European techniques with the character of Gualtallary. Nothing is left to chance, yet everything is done naturally.

This is how we understand wine: authentic, pure, and made with conscience. A wine born from the earth and brought to the glass without losing its truth.
