The 2018 Domaine Bousquet Cabernet Sauvignon begins with lots of ripe dark berry aromas mixed with violets and a little vanilla and spice. The wine tastes similar to the nose with more ripe dark fruit like plum, blackberry and black cherry plus a smooth and soft mouthfeel. There are touches of spice as well, but this one is mostly about the tart and juicy fruit. A little burst of spice leads into the dry finish where more tart dark fruit lingers. This is a really solid Cab with no oak influence.
