Fortunately, when visiting our vineyard, you do not have to travel far for a meal that is designed to be paired with our organic wine. In fact, you do not have to travel at all. Domaine Bousquet is not only home to a completely organic vineyard and accompanying winery, but also an on-site restaurant: Gaia.

About Gaia Restaurant

Gaia is Domaine Bousquet’s very own on-site restaurant. As you explore the sun-dappled grounds of our vineyard, you may find yourself longing for a reason to linger. Gaia is that reason. 

Open for lunch, the restaurant’s name is a reference to Greek mythology and the mother of Earth and all life upon it. As such, you can expect cuisine that is fresh. We use select ingredients from Domaine Bousquet’s on-site organic garden. Gaia offers a seasonal menu with four or six courses plus wine pairings. The restaurant is helmed by Chef Adrian Baggio. The setting is just as beautiful as the winery itself. Enjoy patio dining with sweeping views of the majestic mountains and the vineyard, or dine indoors if you prefer. While dining, you can enjoy a glass or bottle of wine straight from our vineyard. 

Booking is available online for small parties and larger groups; we encourage you to take advantage of this feature to secure the reservation you desire. If you are looking to host an event, we are also able to accommodate that and look forward to celebrating with you. 

Domaine Bousquet’s on-site garden

Gaia Restaurant’s commitment to the Earth can be seen in the way its produce is sourced. Ingredients come from Domaine Bousquet’s on-site organic garden. Much like our vineyard, the produce here is grown without chemicals. The rich soil allows vegetables to grow healthy and strong with a vibrant flavor. While enjoying lunch at Gaia Restaurant, you may even feel inspired to start your own organic garden when you return home.

The inspiration behind the menu at Gaia Restaurant

The menu at Gaia Restaurant is upscale but never stuffy. It is inviting, fresh, and creative. Lunch here is meant to be savored and paired with wine. Courses include everything from carpaccio to lamb sandwiches to grilled salmon to cheese flats to chocolate lava cake. The menu varies, so please contact us if you have specific questions or dietary restrictions. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. As you enjoy your meal, do not hesitate to ask our attentive staff about the menu or the wine pairings. 

The space at Gaia Restaurant

When it comes to views, it is difficult to imagine a more beautiful setting for lunch than at Domaine Bousquet’s restaurant. Outdoor seating is typically preferred by our guests who love the fresh mountain air and breathtaking views of the Andes. Breathe it in and let your eyes wander over the nearby pond and the grapes growing in the sun. On cooler days, you may wish to dine indoors. Do not worry; you will still be able to enjoy wonderful views through the windows. 

Tours and wine tastings at Domaine Bousquet

A tour of Domaine Bousquet is the perfect appetizer for a long lunch at Gaia Restaurant. Tours of Domaine Bousquet are offered daily from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. These last for approximately one hour. You will begin your tour in the vineyard and then head to the winery. The tour culminates with a wine tasting in the cellar. Reservations are suggested for tours, just as they are for the restaurant.
