SUSTAINABILITY

Caring for the land is part of our essence. From the very beginning, we chose a simple yet powerful path: to work with nature, not against it. In Gualtallary, a unique terroir at the foot of the Andes, we farm under organic, regenerative, and biodynamic practices that protect the soil, water, and surrounding biodiversity.

ORGANIC & REGENERATIVE PRACTICES

Estate Vineyards:
We own 172 hectares of estate
vineyards certified organic, regenerative, and biodynamic in Gualtallary, Tupungato, and Maipú. In addition, we work with local growers who farm more than 300 hectares under certified organic practices.

No Synthetic Products:
We do not use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Our agriculture is based on soil health
and biodiversity.

Organic Garden:
We supply our Gaia kitchen with
fresh produce from our organic garden, following a true “farm-to-table” philosophy.

CERTIFICATIONS

A commitment verified, year after year. Our philosophy is reflected in international certifications that validate our work and transparency:

Organic (ECOCERT)
Regenerative Organic Certified™ (ROC) – First Argentine winery to obtain it
Biodynamic (Demeter)
B Corporation (B Corp)

Each seal represents a commitment to the soil, people, animals, and the community. These are demanding standards that we choose to meet because we believe in a more responsible and sustainable way of producing.

RESPONSIBLE
WATER
MANAGEMENT

Every drop counts.

In a low-rainfall environment (200 mm per year), water is a valuable resource. We protect it through:

drip irrigation using pure meltwater, efficient, block-by-block water management, soils with greater water retention thanks to compost and cover crops, practices that reduce erosion and strengthen the soil’s natural structure.

Water sustains life. Our role is to use it with respect and responsibility.

GLOBAL
IMPACT & FUTURE
VISION

Sustainability beyond the vineyard.

Producing high-end organic wines is only part of the journey. The other is contributing positively to our community and the world.

95% of our team lives just a few kilometers from the winery. We promote local employment and support schools and community projects. We foster a circular economy that begins with composting and ends with healthier, more resilient soils.

We export to more than 50 countries, sharing certified organic wines and an internationally recognized sustainable model.

Our Impact Ecosystem

Organic:

Organic agriculture is the foundation of our work. This system is based on farming without synthetic chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, or artificial fertilizers, and without genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Its goal is to produce grapes free of chemical residues while protecting the environment. By cultivating our vineyards without synthetic agrochemicals, we ensure clean production and create the essential foundation for more advanced and holistic farming practices.

Regenerative (ROC):

Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) builds on organic farming by actively restoring the ecosystem. It is based on three key pillars: soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness. Practices such as cover crops and reduced tillage help increase soil organic matter and capture carbon. The standard also requires safe working conditions, fair trade practices, freedom of association, and the payment of a living wage for workers.

Biodynamic:

Biodynamic agriculture views the farm as a living organism where soil, plants, animals, and people are deeply connected. Through natural preparations and attention to cosmic rhythms, it seeks to revitalize the land and express the true character of the place. Biodynamic standards also include a strong commitment to social responsibility, promoting fair working conditions and the well-being of those who work on the farm
