After studying 123 soil pits at Eva Estate,
we began to read the vineyard as a living map. This is how Wild Roots was born:
wines that express specific geomorphic units, where each soil speaks in its own
voice. Each label reveals a fragment of Gualtallary’s terroir with precision,
purity, and minimal intervention. Wines that do not seek to interpret the
place, but to let it speak.
Ameri Wild Roots Block #1 Malbec Organic comes from extremely stony soil, with a surface sand layer under 40 cm deep, beneath which lies soil with a high stone content, where the roots develop.
It ferments with native yeasts in 400-liter oak barrels for 15 to 20 days, with a total maceration of 30 days in contact with the skins. It undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation. Aging is 12 months, entirely in new oak, followed by an additional 1 year of bottle aging.
